The 7th Central Conference on Sustainable Construction was held in Zagreb, bringing together leading experts in green building, energy, urban planning, and the sustainable built environment. Through a series of expert lectures and panel discussions, participants analyzed key challenges and solutions that are shaping a more sustainable future for the construction sector.
In addition to the lectures, one of the highlights of the conference was the award ceremony, where plaques were presented to projects in Croatia certified under the DGNB system, recognizing their exceptional contributions to achieving the highest sustainability standards.
As part of the program, Marko Dabrović, partner at 3LHD, delivered a lecture in which he presented projects that are already shaping the future of sustainable construction in Croatia, while also highlighting some of the challenges that designers will have to face in the future. Special emphasis was placed on the role of the VOLUM3 digital platform, an innovative solution for the digitization and integration of work processes in the construction industry. VOLUM3 enables architects, investors, and contractors to monitor and exchange data in real time, thereby contributing to the efficiency and sustainability of projects.
The conference once again confirmed the importance of multidisciplinarity and collaboration in creating sustainable urban spaces and outlined concrete guidelines towards a greener and more energy-efficient future for the construction sector.
