HGIK Lecture: How Complex Projects Are Created

As part of the professional gathering for members of the Croatian Chamber of Civil Engineers held on November 8th at Hotel Adria in Dubrovnik, Marko Dabrović, partner at Studio 3LHD, delivered a lecture on "How Complex Projects Are Created." The lecture brought together experts from construction and architectural sectors, and sparked a discussion on key aspects of successful management of complex projects.

Dabrović emphasized that complex construction projects emerge through the synergy of creativity and technology, where complex architectural concepts must be transformed into functional solutions through efficient coordination and management. He presented the methods used by Studio 3LHD, highlighting innovative approaches in architecture and construction. Special attention was given to VOLUM3, a digital platform that enables precise project management at all stages—from planning to execution.

Following the lecture, a discussion and exchange of experiences took place among participants. The event gathered renowned experts, including Josip Atalić, Darko Knežević, Filip Leko, Albert Kroiss, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mario Uroš, and Juraj Pojatina, M.Sc. Civ. Eng., who also delivered lectures. The discussion addressed critical issues related to the challenges of modern construction, the integration of new technologies, and the necessity for  interdisciplinary collaboration.
