As part of a recent lecture held by Marko Dabrović, partner at the architectural studio 3LHD, students and other attendees had the opportunity to learn about the studio’s philosophy and approach, which has been shaping the contemporary architectural scene in Croatia and the wider region for the past three decades.

The lecture, titled “Architecture in Dialogue with Technology, Community, and Nature”, presented 3LHD’s latest projects and completed works, with a special focus on sustainability, the use of digital tools, and an interdisciplinary approach that connects architecture, urbanism, design, and landscape.

Through examples such as the Rimac Campus, Infobip Campus, Park Kneževa in Zagreb, and the Kupari Dubrovnik Resort, Marko Dabrović illustrated how 3LHD integrates innovation and technology with a strong sense of responsibility toward the community and the environment. The lecture emphasized the importance of contextual thinking and the creation of architecture that is simultaneously functional, aesthetically distinctive, and sustainable.

The presentation also opened a discussion on the future of architecture, exploring how contemporary architects can respond to technological challenges while remaining aligned with social needs and environmental responsibility.
