15. October 2025

At the lecture held on October 15, 2025, titled “Project Management in the Age of BIM and Digital Tools,” Marko Dabrović, partner at the architectural studio 3LHD, presented to attendees how contemporary digital technologies are reshaping the process of designing and realizing architectural projects.

The lecture provided insight into the complex processes behind the realization of large-scale 3LHD projects such as the Rimac Campus, Infobip Campus, and other recent works. Special emphasis was placed on the role of BIM technologies, federated models, and collaborative platforms such as VOLUM3, which enable effective coordination of multidisciplinary teams and transparent management of project data.

Through concrete case studies, Marko Dabrović demonstrated how digital tools facilitate early clash detection, optimization of communication processes, and precise project tracking — from conceptual design to execution. The lecture highlighted how the integration of technology and architectural practice is transforming the very role of the architect, who is increasingly taking on a leadership position in project management and coordination of complex collaborative systems.

In the concluding discussion, the focus was on how digital tools and BIM technologies contribute to greater efficiency, sustainability, and quality in contemporary architecture, and how they are redefining the way architects think about and lead projects in today’s fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
