Grand Park Hotel Rovinj is the recipient of the Hotel Property Award 2020, one of the most prestigious accolades in the European hotel industry. The award is presented as part of the Hotelforum conference and recognizes excellence in hotel architecture, design, concept, and sustainability.
The jury highlighted that the project impressed with “the successful combination of the simple and modern architecture characteristic of the Croatian architects 3LHD from Zagreb, and the elegant interior design by one of the most renowned and internationally acclaimed Italian designers and architects, Piero Lissoni,” said Andreas Martin, Managing Director of Hotelforum management GmbH.
The award has been presented annually since 2002, with evaluation criteria including originality of the accommodation concept, architectural quality, integration into the surroundings, innovation in planning and technology, and economic sustainability.
