We have won the international competition for a new bridge across Kaštela Bay in Split, together with our colleagues from Pipenbaher Consulting Engineers.
Our proposal showcases a cable‑stayed bridge creating a new direct link between the Split peninsula, the airport, and the regional road network. The bridge spans 1600 m, with a 400 m main span, ensuring uninterrupted maritime traffic through a 200 m wide, 55 m high navigation corridor. Two slender pylons, with a total height of 157 m, define the structure and form a new coastal landmark.
In addition to the traffic lanes, the bridge features pedestrian and cycling paths positioned below the roadway level. They allow views of the Adriatic and ensure protection from wind, spray, and noise.
