The 5th Balkan Biennial of Architecture (BAB) is being held from December 8th to 16th 2021, at the Balkan Cinema in Belgrade. The theme of the 5th BAB 21 is "Iconic Nomad in Global Village". The host-country is the Republic of Croatia. The selector of Croatian architecture, in charge of the selection of works, authors and lecturers from Croatia is prof. Saša Begović (3LHD).
Over 350 works by authors from the entire Balkan region will be exhibited at the Biennale. The grand opening and award ceremony will take place on December 8th, starting at 6 p.m.
The goal of BAB is to gather and network prominent authors from related fields of urbanism, architecture and design from different but regionally connected backgrounds. The purpose of this international event is to present and promote examples of good practice, but also to initiate a discussion on the most important topics for the economy and the profession.
